Placencia
Placencia Village is located on the Placencia Peninsula on the Stann
Creek District in Belize. It is about a three hour drive away from
Belize City. About 458 people live here permanently all year long.
Its inhabitants are Creole people, descendants from African slaves
and European settlers. Being a peninsula village its climate and temperature
are quite stead.
Placencia is known for its natural sandy beaches. Here you will find
both adventure and relaxation. The barrier reef offers an awesome
diving and snorkelling experience. You can also go fishing in the
