The Martino Resort and Spa is a five-star, luxury resort located in Alajuela, just 15 minutes west of the airport. The Martino is the only five-star property in the area, which is a great jumping off point for attractions to the North, South and West. Surrounded by well-manicured gardens, and set upon six acres, the Martino Resort and Spa is endowed with a classic beauty. The Martino Resort and Spa has the largest gym in all of Costa Rica, as well as an extravagant, full-service spa. There is also an Italian gourmet restaurant onsite.
