The Coral Sands is located 15 minutes from the North Eleuthera Airport, on Harbour Island. This charming hotel with 40 rooms has been voted the best small hotel in the Caribbean, by Caribbean Travel and Life and Frommers called its onsite restaurant one of the finest in the Bahamas. Perched on a bluff overlooking the sea, the Coral Sands offers an array of tropical island fun just steps from the door. The hotel's location is on a pink sand beach, one of the most beautiful in the world. Guests can stroll across the hotel's eight tropical acres to historic Dunmore Town. Harbour Island itself is a true gem of unspoiled beauty, history and relaxed atmosphere. This hotel has been in operation since 1968, but recent renovations have enhanced the atmosphere of this friendly hotel. Most of the staff has been with hotel for over a decade.
The guest rooms have al been newly renovated and feature a full range of modern amenities, such as an in-room safe. The Garden View and the Oceanfront rooms feature a private balcony and an additional sofa bed. The hotel's restaurant, Poiseidon, offers outstanding cuisine with a contemporary flair. The Coral Sands features the island's only beachside bar, a great place for a drink. Others might opt just to relax beneath the palms with a good book. Whatever they may opt to do with their time, guests will this hotel and the island its sits on the ideal destination for relaxation. This property provides European plans only.
