CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) was created in 1991 where
the participants declared their interaction on the basis of sovereign
equality.
The current members are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan,
and Ukraine.
