The James Bay Inn is a historic, traditional hotel, which has been called one of Victoria's best-kept secrets. This inn was beautifully built in 1911, and remains the oldest hotel in Victoria. Although it has been recently renovated, the James Bay Inn retains the character and charm that Victoria is known for. The inn is close to all downtown attractions, and an easy walk to the beach and Beacon Hill Park. Besides offering some of the best rates in town, the inn offers free parking. The inn is also well known for its restaurant and its lounge.
The guest accommodations are clean and quiet, with a traditional décor. Despite the historical nature of this inn, the guest rooms have the conveniences of a modern bathroom, cable TV and direct dial telephone.
