Set on the site of building destroyed in World War II bombings, this 1950s building faces Wenceslas Square, right in the center of Prague. The four star Hotel Jalta Prague is one kilometer from the Charles Bridge and the city's art galleries and museums, and three kilometers from Prague Castle. The 94 guestrooms are decorated in pale colors, with richly colored fabrics and plain wooden furniture. All the rooms have bathrobes, complimentary toiletries and dial-up Internet connections.
The hotel's restaurant, which serves both Czech specialties, Japanese dishes and an international menu, opens out onto a terrace on Wenceslas Square - a great place to recover from sightseeing and watch the world go by.
