Hotel Bissonier is a traditional three story gray stone building located in the center of the medieval town of Gourdon. Its position in the Périgord region of France makes it within reach of the Dordogne and Lot river valleys. All 25 guestrooms are decorated in soft colors or in cream, and those on the uppermost floor feature exposed wooden beams. Those not taking advantage of the cable television, standard in all rooms, can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside. BR> The hotel brasserie offers regional and contemporary cuisine where guests can order delicacies such as kangaroo filet, sea bass or foie gras (one of the area's main exports); and during the summer months guests can dine on the terrace. Theme nights are hosted by the hotel every second Friday. The surrounding area gives access to hiking, cycling, ancient caves, castles, the medieval towns of Sarlat and Rocamador, golf, swimming and canoeing in the nearby Dordogne and Lot rivers. Toulouse-Blagnac airport is 95 kilometers, or about one hour and twenty minutes drive, from the resort. |

From Toulouse Airport:
Follow A620/Peripherique Interieur straight for 3kms, then at sign ALBI/ MONTPELLIER turn right and follow E09-E72 for 1.5km.
Then follow E09 Highway straight for approximatly 100kms, you will pass signs for ST-JORY, MONTAUBAN, CORBARIEU/SAPIAC.
At sign PARIS/LIMOGES/BRIVES/AURILLAC, turn right and follow Echangeur de Cahors Nord for 4kms.
Follow N20 for 4kms, then D5 for 5kms and D23 for 2.5kms, then finnaly D12 and D2 for 5kms. You will reach GOURDON in 1h45 minutes.
