Torre Pratesi Was Built Around 1510 On A Ridge In The Hills Of Romagna, On An Ancient Etruscan Road Not Far From Tuscany. In 1600 The Invention Of Gunpowder Deprived The Tower Of Its Defensive Function. The Tower Was Then Roofed And Turned Into A Hunting Lodge. In 1800 A Farm House Was Added To The Tower. Today Torre Pratesi Is The Result Of An Extremely Accurate Restoration.
There Are Four Of The Units, One Per Floor, Built In The Old Tower Itself, Each Bears The Name Of An Animal Of The Area And Four Units Located In The Old House Bearing The Name Of One Of The Surrounding Mountains. Each Has Its Own Distinguishing Features, The Antique And Handcrafted Interiors Give A Warm And Cozy Atmosphere.
There Is Also The Addtion Of Individual Cottages Each With Bedroom, Bath And Sitting Room.
