Hotel Jane is placed in a quiet area, close to the river Arno and the quarter of S. Croce. The center of Florence is easily reachable on foot within 10 minutes. The hotel is also easily accessible by car from the motorway. Hotel Jane has an inner bar, an elevator, a dining room, and a pretty garden. The hotel is directly managed and looked after by it's owner, and has been recently restored. It includes 24 comfortable, spacious bedrooms, all with private bathroom, satellite TV, direct dial phone, and air conditioning.
Florence is the capital of the region of Tuscany, on Italy's northwest coast. A good reference point for navigating your way around Florence is its central train station, Santa Maria Novella, although the Duomo is pretty hard to miss. The city has two airports - Amerigo Vespucci is a few kilometers northwest of the city centre, and Galileo Galilei (for international flights) is about 75km (46mi) west of the city. You can walk from one end of the city centre to the other in about 30 minutes. |

Follow Viali di Circonvallazione (main street which goes around all the city). Then on Beccaria Square, turn on the left, and take Scialoia Street, then turn on the 1st right (Via Scipione Ammirato), at the traffic light turn on the right and straight on until you find the hotel (Via Orcagna). |
