Located on the outskirts of Utrecht in a tranquil verdant setting, this modern red-brick hotel has direct links to main roads and is just a five minute drive to the city center. Looking over the waters of the old "De Bilt" fortress and set in parkland, the Hotel Mitland offers great surroundings in which to unwind. Bright guestrooms have modern light wood furnishings and all offer cable TV, minibars and complimentary toiletries. Suites also include separate seating areas and well-equipped kitchenettes for a self-catering option.
Guests have free access to the swimming pool, the sauna and the Turkish baths. The swimming pool is equipped with an optimal climate control system and has a marvellous view over the waters of Utrecht Fort De Bilt. For a small fee guests may also make use of the bubble baths and two separate sun beds. Dining options include an à la carte menu available in the 'Serre' restaurant, also with a view of the waters. A dinner buffet is served daily in the Hollandzaal, and the Café Forte provides a space to unwind with a drink. The outside terrace is also open in the summer months. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about 45 minutes drive from the hotel, or there are train connections to Utrecht via Duivendrecht. |

| Driving Directions |
Driving directions from Amsterdam: Follow the A2 to the "Oudenrijn" intersection. Then follow the "Ring Utrecht" signs which will bring you on to the A12. Follow the "Ring Utrecht" signs here too. At the "Lunetten" intersection, follow the "Ring Utrecht / Amersfoort / Hilversum (A27) signs. Follow the "VEEMARKT" signs at Utrecht. Take the "VEEMARKT" turning (exit 30). At the traffic lights at the T-junction, turn left and pass under the viaduct. You will pass a "Pico Bello" petrol station on your right. Drive all the way round the first roundabout you come to so that you are driving back in the same direction as you came. Immediately after the roundabout (about 70 metres) take the first right turn. Turn right again at the T-junction. This is the Ariënslaan. After about 300 metres, you will see Hotel Mitland to your left. |
