The Quality Hotel Reading is a modern three star hotel located just outside the Reading town center and five miles from the M4. It is a good base for the numerous business parks in the vicinity as well as access to the nearby theme parks of Legoland, Thorpe Park and Didcott Railway. Windsor, Eton and Ascot are also nearby. All 96 bedrooms have been refurbished in 2004 and all have wireless Internet access, data port connection, trouser press and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as en-suite bathrooms and direct dial telephones.
The hotel provides conference and banqueting space to cater for up to 150 delegates. The main conference room, the Oxford Suite, with 100 delegates theater-style capacity, is self-contained with its own bar and entrance, making it the ideal venue for meetings, seminars, parties and weddings. Other amenities include currency exchange, free parking and a safe deposit box at the front desk. There are two on-site dining options, both open for breakfast, lunch and dinner: the Scala Bistro serves a modern fusion of Italian and French cuisine, while the Seasons Brasserie and Bar serves modern international cuisine and bar snacks. Approximate driving time is 40 minutes from London's Heathrow Airport. |

From airport follow signs to the M4 northbound. Exit at Junction 11 and and follow signs towards Reading Town Centre - A33. Then take signs for the A329 and continue under the bypass, direction Pangbourne. Take the next slip slip road left - Oxford Street - then turn left into Chatham Street - also signposted direction of Pangbourne A329. At the mini roundabout turn left, then turn right at the 'T' junction into Oxford Road. Hotel can be found approximately 1 mile along Oxford Road on right hand side. |
