This Elegantly Rustic Log Lodge With Spacious Log Guest Cabins Was Established By The Pioneering Randall Family In 1974 And Has Since Been A Haven Amidst A Lush Evergreen Forest And Fjord Environment, For Those Who Want To Escape Urban Settings. Guest Capacity Is 12-15 Depending On Configuration *couples/singles* Spread Across 3 Log Guest Cabins, Each 1,000 Sq.ft., Constructed From 2 Foot Diameter Hand-hewn Logs. Located On The Edge Of A Lush Virgin Spruce Forest In A Protected Saltwater Cove, Each Guest Cabin Has 2 Bedrooms, A Living Room, Modern Bathroom, Constant Electricity And A Great View From Every Window. Each Bedroom Has A Queen And Twin-size Bed With Wall-to-wall Carpeting, Flannel Sheets, Down Comforters And Tasteful Appointments. Each Living-room Has A Day-bed, Swivel Rockers, Carpeting, Hi-tech Heater And Tasteful Appointments. Each Bathroom Has A Glass Shower, Vanity, Flush Toilet, Constant Electricity And Night-lights. No Smoking Is Allowed In The Cabins But The Porches Offer Shelter. Meals Are Taken At The Main Lodge Primarily For Breakfast And Supper, With Lunches Aboard The Cabin-cruisers Or On Beaches While Fishing Or Viewing/photographing Wildlife.

All Airlines Hub In Anchorage Then Guests Take A 1-hour Scheduled Flight To Kodiak *or 45 Minutes To Homer* With Alaska Airlines Or Era Aviation. From There, This Lodge Sets Up The Floatplane Reservations, Which Are A Separate But Reasonable Expense. The Floatplane Service Will Pick The Guests Up At Either The Airport *directly Prior To Floatplane Flight* Or At Their Hotel-lobby At 730am. Most Guests Arrive In The Mornings Thus Facilitating Shared Floatplanes.
