The Sonoma Valley Inn is strategically located 58 miles away from the Oakland International Airport. The most welcome surprise for first time guests is the location of the Inn to the Sonoma Plaza, it's many world-class restaurants, wine tasting rooms, unique shopping and part of California's earliest history-the mission, barracks and buildings from the Bear Flag Revolt period. There are 27 wineries within 20 minutes of the inn. Guests tend to return often on a yearly basis because of the close proximity to Napa Valley, Sonoma Coastline, San Francisco and many other California sites that make excellent day trips.
Each of the 82 tastefully decorated guest rooms that the Sonoma Valley offers are quiet and comfortable with amenities often only found in larger resort type hotels. These amenities include in room coffee maker, refrigerator, voice mail, data port, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and pay per view movies. Leisure activities include year-round heated pool, steam and exercise rooms, and a gazebo covered Jacuzzi spa and garden walkways with a grass-covered dog run. Take I-880 North to Downtown Oakland.
Take 980 East to Walnut Creek to I-580.
Take I-580 to St. Francis/Hayward to I-80 North.
Take I-80 North to (Vallejo-Sacramento).
Take Richmond San Rafael Bridge to CA-101 North.
Take CA-37 East to CA-121 North to CA-12 North.
Take CA-12 North to Sonoma which becomes Broadway.
Follow Broadway to the end and turn left on West Napa.
At the first light turn Left on 2nd Street West.
Sonoma Valley Inn is on the Left next to Ralph's. |
