The OHANA Islander Waikiki is a 283-room, 12-story hotel centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, on Kalakaua Avenue next to Planet Hollywood, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and the newly opened DFS Galleria, plus, the gateway to many happenings on Lewers Street. Being one block away from famous Waikiki beach you can have the best of both worlds - relaxing on the beach or shopping for your every need. And for the conventioneer, the Islander Waikiki is about a fifteen-minute walk down Kalakaua Avenue.
The room and public areas underwent part of an $8 million, renovation process in 1997 and still stands beautifully decorated with a soft tropical pastel palette, offering amazing views of Kalakaua and Diamond Head, not to mention partial views of the blue Pacific. The Islander Waikiki features a Food Court restaurant, which is the first of its kind in Waikiki, with a variety of eateries. Additional amenities include a sundry store, an outdoor pool, self-service business center, fitness room and a coin operated laundry facility. The hotel also has an Activities Center, to help you plan your days spent in Paradise. The OHANA Islander Waikiki is convenient to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

From Honolulu International Airport:
Take H-1 Freeway East to Nimitz Hwy/Waikiki Exit.
Stay on Nimitz which becomes Ala Moana Boulevard.
Turn right onto Kalakaua Avenue to get to Waikiki.
Once on Kalakaua Ave, turn right on Lewers Street.
The parking entrance is about 80 yards on the right.
Please park in the basement. |
