The legendary Gramercy Park Hotel is located in the heart of New York's most fashionable and delightful neighborhoods, overlooking Gramercy Park. The hotel is located on and overlooking 'magical' Gramercy Park, New York City's only private park, built in 1831. Guests of the hotel will enjoy access to this exclusive park. The Gramercy Park Hotel has served an international clientele since the day it opened its doors more than 75 years ago. The Gramercy Park Hotel is where an eleven- year-old President to be John F. Kennedy lived with his parents. It is the Hotel where a 27-year old Humphrey Bogart married Helen Mencken on the Roof Garden, and where Babe Ruth was politely asked, on more than one occasion, to leave its famous bar.
The guest rooms and suites vary from 200 to 450 square feet, and are equipped with either a King or two double beds. These rooms feature a full range of amenities, including a refrigerator and cable TV. Guests also enjoy 24-hour access to the hotel's fitness center, which is very well equipped. Massage therapy is now available at the hotel. The Gramercy Park Bar is one of the hotel's more venerable amenities, having been a regular haunt of international celebrities, both past and present. Take first right ramp (west) to West Side Hwy.
Take West Side Hwy N (right turn) to 23rd St.
Take 23rd Street East to Lexington Avenue.
Turn right on Lexington Ave to the hotel. |
